Climate change has become a serious subject for the whole world and we were witnessing many political leaders put more attention to it in the last few decades, recently there have been many agreements and movements have been formed around this important topic.
Based on melting arctic ice and other evidence, it is clear that global warming has begun and existing concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere will lead to further temperature increases. (Curtis, 2009) Controlling the concentrations of greenhouse gases has become very important for many developed countries and many political leaders are getting more involved in the process to increase awareness around this crucial topic and make strategic plans to reduce it. Many countries coming together to find the best solution to reduce greenhouse gases, therefore, many policies and guidelines have been developed to control the greenhouse gases for many industries such as supply chains, logistics, production lines, and businesses in general, which has impacts on how the countries trades globally and how they are participating around this issues. Because climate change is happening around the globe and can affect everywhere around the globe, corporation, and participation from all countries, seems necessary.
Four major climate changes are particularly important for freight transportation and supply chains. They include more very hot days and heat waves, rising sea levels, more frequent intense precipitation events, and increases in hurricanes. (Curtis, 2009), which shows the importance of implementing adequate plans to control climate change.
Global warming can influence countries' economical growth, trade, migration, and labor market, also the supply and demand curve can be challenged because of the complications of the supply chain. It is clear that climate change is not just weather changing, its consequences are far more than just the weather in all the countries around the globe, that's why many leaders are trying to fabricate all sorts of agreements and getting involved to solve this problem. Public education and awareness have to be increased around this topic because it seems, policies don't cut enough progress, and many people around the globe are not fully aware of the damage of global warming for the generation to come. Most people just think that it can change the weather and Forrest, but the effects are far deeper than just nature's changes, it is about the whole way of living, the countries' capital, and the number of products that can be available to the consumers, because any severe changes on weather, rising ocean's level can cause delays or cancellations on logistics industries and the availability of the products. Trade can create capital for the countries and any complications in trade such as supply chain delays can cause an imbalance in countries' capital and wealth. The whole globe is currently, mainly programmed for international trade to optimize the usage of their resources by exchanging their extras with their needs.
Furthermore, climate change can affect the way of people living style, the more severe the climate change, the more impact, which is necessary, countries at the global level put more action to control the damage and formulate practical policies and guidelines for companies and increase the awareness around this topic. Economic growth is linked with money circulation and the investing industries, if the investors don't feel safe to invest or are not sure about their return, they will invest with caution which can lead to narrowing the productivity and invention in the globe. Climate change is a serious warning and taking action to reduce and control it is a necessity,
